Fast and efficient vehicle management: Motortec case study
The director of Motortec, Marek Ventruba, has repeatedly encountered the problem of unclear origin of damage to vehicles when taking them back after service. Customers often did not examine their vehicle in detail when they arrived, but noticed new scratches or other defects when they took it back. These situations led to disagreements and mistrust between customers and the service department.
Solution proposal
We proposed a solution using a mobile app that would allow mechanics to take detailed photos of all sides of the vehicle when they take it over. If necessary, these photos could be easily retrieved and compared with the current state of the vehicle, thus avoiding disagreements about the origin of the damage.
Rapid custom software development
For the development of this application, we chose Progressive Web Application approach and Vue.js technology, a modern JavaScript framework that allowed us to develop quickly and efficiently. This allowed us to present a fully functional prototype of the app to Motortec in just two weeks.
